APPLICATION PROCESS

Elementary/Middle School in Playa Vista

The Argo Navis application process begins each fall for the next school year for TK-8th grade at our Playa Vista campus. Candidates are urged to apply early. Decisions are released in March, with acceptances offered based on availability of space. 

If you are interested in our current 2022-2023 school year, please contact our Admissions Manager, Lauren Tarne at Lauren@theargoschool.com

  • Choose a date to attend a elementary/middle school tour

  • After attending the tour, a follow-up email will be sent including

    • An application 

    • Transcript and recommendation forms

    • Link to complete a FAST Tuition Assistance application

  • Complete and submit the application

  • Once an application has been received, the admissions department will contact families of students for a Shadow Day so the student can spend some time on campus. 

  • After the application has been received, we require the following items be emailed to admissions@theargoschool.com (please refer to the 2024 deadlines)

    • Transcript and recommendation forms

    • 1 year of student grades/transcripts sent from former school(s) 

    • Immunization records (meeting the CA requirements for schools)

  • If applying for our needs-based Financial Aid, please create a profile through the FAST website. There you will be asked to submit the appropriate information (making sure to upload supporting documents). A Financial Aid letter will be attached to the final decision letter informing family of eligibility and any amount being allocated. 

  • Once we have assessed student candidacy for admission, a letter of decision will be sent to the family. If the student is accepted, they will also be sent an enrollment contract. 

  • A non-refundable enrollment deposit (one month of tuition) is due at time of contract signing – that amount will be used for the student’s last month of school at Argo Navis. A space is not reserved until a signed contract and deposit has been received.

December 1, 2023 - Priority Decision Letters emailed

December 8,2023 - Priority deposits and contracts due 

2024-2025  General Application Due Dates

January 12, 2024  - Applications TK-8 due 

January 19, 2024 - TK-8th Teacher Recommendation Letters and Transcripts Due

January 31, 2024  - Fast application due TK-8th (students applying after this date will be taken on a case-by-case basis)

March 8, 2024 - Decision Letters sent

March 15, 2024 - Deposits and contracts due
